ETA Bomb Causes No Significant Damage
Tuesday December 25, 2007
Spanish security fears of an attack by the Basque separatist militia, ETA were realized on Christmas Day, when a bomb exploded in a Socialist party building in northern Spain. ETA notified officials before the bomb went off, and there were no injuries. The separatist group has demanded independence for the Basque region, from Spain, since its founding in 1959.
