Marvin Zalman is a professor of criminal justice at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI), and author of Criminal Procedure: Constitution and Society, Fifth Edition (Prentice Hall, 2007). He has written on wrongful conviction, physician-assisted suicide, drug asset forfeiture, domestic violence, jail crowding lawsuits, civil liberties, and judicial sentencing. His writings on constitutional criminal procedure include articles on Miranda rights, the Fourth Amendment, and venue. He serves on the editorial advisory boards of the Criminal Justice Policy Review, Criminal Justice Review, the Criminal Law Bulletin, the Journal of Crime & Justice and the Justice System Journal.
